'A most auspicious star'
Act 1 Scene 2 : Prospero
'By
accident most strange,
bountiful Fortune,
Now my dear lady,
hath mine enemies
Brought to this shore;
and by my prescience
I find my zenith doth depend upon
A most auspicious star,
whose influence
If now I court not but omit,
my fortunes
Will ever after droop.'

I have always been excited about
colour, and especially coloured glass. Even before my glass beadmaking
course in 1997 had started, I knew
that I had found my ultimate
passion. The challenge of
heating glass and shaping
it into a miniature work of art
that can then be worn is
something that I still find magical.
