‘Storm’
Storm - huge waves, compared to which the vessel appears to
be tiny, while on the other hand the whole scenery fits onto the small
canvas of a glass bead.
This bead has been wound on a mandrel, and then flame worked into its shape
by sculpting (using a paddle and bread knife) and by adding more glass if
necessary. I've used different glass colours, enamels and thin stringers to
create this design.
